Chelsea 2022/23 Premier League fixtures in full: Everton, Tottenham and Leeds ensure tough start.

Chelsea will need to hit the ground running at the start of the 2022/23 campaign with trips to Everton and Leeds United sandwiching a home clash against Tottenham.

Chelsea begin their 2022/23 Premier League campaign on the road as Thomas Tuchel takes his side to Goodison Park to face Everton on August 6 in the day's late kick-off.

There is another reunion the following weekend as Antonio Conte brings his Tottenham side across London to Stamford Bridge on August 13. That match will be the first official home game of the Todd Boehly era; the consortium led by the U.S. billionaire completed its takeover at the end of May.

The Blues then do not face any of last season's top six until September 17 when Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side travel down to London. It may enable Tuchel's side to build momentum as they attempt to close the gap to the Reds and Man City atop the Premier League.

In a season like no other because of the winter World Cup in Qatar, Chelsea's final game before the enforced mid-season break will come against Newcastle United at St James' Park on November 12. The Premier League will not restart until Boxing Day – and Chelsea's festive game is at Stamford Bridge against newly-promoted side Bournemouth. It's a fixture the Blues have a strangely poor record in over recent years.

Tuchel's side are back in action on New Year's Eve as they take on Nottingham Forest. It will be the first league meeting between the two clubs since 1999.

Two days later and Man City will arrive at Stamford Bridge in what could prove a pivotal clash at the top of the table; Tuchel will certainly hope so at least despite having to rebuild his squad this summer.

There is a trip to Anfield for Chelsea on January 21 and the following month, on February 25, the Blues will have to go to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium to again face off against Conte.

Chelsea's run-in is not kind, with three of last season's top six to be played. On April 22, the Blues face Manchester United at Old Trafford; April 26 sees a visit of Brentford to Stamford Bridge; April 29 involves a short journey to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal.

Then comes Bournemouth away on May 6; Nottingham Forest at home on May 13; a game at the Etihad against Manchester City on May 20; and Chelsea will end their season at home to Newcastle United on May 28.

Keep in mind that all these fixtures are subject to change throughout the course of the campaign as broadcasters pick which matches will be shown live. So the dates below are not set in stone.
